# Adding Products

Once you've created categories, add products to them so they appear in the POS menu.

### Add the product to a category

Go to **Apps > Dash > Menus** and select your menu.

### Open the category

Open the category you want to add products to.

### Select products

Select products from your Shopify catalog.

### Save

Save your changes.

Products will display in the POS with their name, image, and base price.

## Assigning Modifiers to Products

After adding a product to a category, you can assign modifier sets to it. This is what makes modifiers appear when your staff tap that product in the POS.

### Select the product

Select a product within a category.

### Attach modifier sets

Choose which modifier sets to attach (for example, Sizes, Dairy, Syrups).

### Save

Save your changes.

A product can have multiple modifier sets. For example, a Coffee might have Dairy, Sizes, and Syrups all attached.
