# Creating a Menu

Menus are what your staff see when they open Dash POS on the register. Each menu contains categories, and each category contains products.

### Step

In your Shopify admin, go to **Apps > Dash > Menus**

Click **Create Menu** (or the equivalent action)

Name your menu

Start adding categories and products

You can create multiple menus if needed — for example, a breakfast menu and a lunch menu, or different menus for different locations.
